I'm going to plan a chinese new year party here

Dear Mom:

I hope my letter does reach you.

I'm doing ok, I having some problem in my knees right now. I can't do any rigorous exercise. It felt like my knee cap go out of place when I do that.

The doctor in the mission told me to do some exercise, which I'll.

I right now are not in Chinese work anymore, I'm working with English people. It is quite challenging in the begining, the culture and the people are very different.

My new companion is Elder Spillman. He is a very active guy, he play socer team for his college. He is a goal keeper. He erercise a lot in the morning.  The area that I serve it is huge, but country. The people here is very friendly. So it kind of felt like that I'm back in

again, everything just felt like that. Because the people are country, friendly, about every house that we visit have at least one dog and two cats, some have more.

The scenery is quite similer too, mountains, trees, snow, a couple of gas station. People who are very friendly but quite concern that they are from country,  Also the food, I just had some ham, pasta and some grape juice recently.

Once again, I'm one of the few who live in this town is chinese.



It is very different than
toronto
, it is a brand new experience, yet there is something familier about that.



I still write my jornal, so you can read that.

ps, the computer that I'm using can't read chinese. I'm not sure that I can get it fix next week. It should be ok.



Ohh yeah, I receive the package, thank you. the pillow case was great, and the cards, my companion really would want one of those pillow case too, he like spongbox.



I'm going to plan a chinese new year party here in the country in our branch. I plan to cook some chinese food, and do some chinese tradition thing. It should be really fun, hopefully attract some people to our church. Right now is already Feb 1st, I think I'll try to find the chinese in the town and we can have a gathering.



I might need some help in how to cook some easy chinese new year cooking though.
