Dear Family,
I got transferred!!! I just found out few hours ago that I will be serving in the Auburn Zone, Game Farm Ward, which is South of Seattle City. Just by hearing from other people I learned that this area is really cool since it's a preservation territory for Native Americans. My new companion is from Arizona. He came out just one transfer after me.
It's nice to leave for a new area and have a new companion, but I am very nervous. Since I am now the senior companion, and I don't feel I’m ready at all! Plus I have always been serving in a single ward, never worked with older people, family. Tonight there are two lessons set up; I will be most likely lead the lessons. I am very nervous and don't think I can do it.
Saying goodbye to old companion is kind of sad. He gave me a long hug and said he will really miss me. He said I am his favorite companion for the whole mission. I think President put me as a senior companion for forcing me to take responsibility and learn from my mistakes. And next transfer I will go back to the Chinese area to take over.
I feel very nervous. I am not a leader type guy. And this place is so new to me. My companion said we will work a lot with the less active members instead of the investigators. I have never taught less active members before. I don't know what to teach.
So far the computers I will be using in the future doesn't read and type Chinese. So we will have to email in English until I figure this out.
I love you. Didi 11/15/2011
