an interesting week.

Dear President:
This week has been an interesting week.
Let's first talked about the miracles that happened. We have an investigator who missionaries have worked with ever since last year. He is all ready to go, just need to get married with his girlfriend. His girlfriend is a less active member (no idea how she got baptized). And we were having a hard time to convince her to marry him. But this week he gave us a call and said they are getting married! Although they are thinking to get married next Valentines Day, which mean next year, but we are so happy that he is closer to God.
I feel like there are so many potential people that can be baptized in here. I and Elder M don't ever need to do anything but there are people put in our path by God. So far that's how we got all our on-dates. They are all sooooo prepared (A and her two daughters are being baptized this Saturday for sure). We have another on date this week. He is an African American married to a white member. He used to have anti thoughts about our church. But ever since he married her and came to see the truth for himself, his opinions about our church changed. We went visit him two days ago, and he told us that he recently starts thinking about to join the church, so we put him on date for the 31st easily.

President I also want to tell you about the concerns me and Elder M have. Last week I mentioned the C family that Elder M is very close with, how we go visit them every day for hours. This week during companion inventory I talked to him concerning this matter. He opened up to me told me how he has been struggling, and how C family, especially sister C, has helped him so much. He told me that they are the reason that he is still here but not home. He also talked about possibly of quitting if he get transferred. They really mean a lot to Elder M.

Right now I don't really know what to do because I don't want him to go home, but at the same time I feel like we are wasting our time to go visit that family everyday. (Yesterday we were there for 5 hours!) I feel like there are so much potential in this area, we can baptize so much more people if we can use those time for teaching and tracking. And I feel very bad every time when we are just sitting over there chatting and hanging out. But I also care about Elder M and understand C family mean a lot to him, if it's not them he will go home. Elder M will talk to you about it, too. He said he will tell you.
